Building Process

Ethan Beck Homes LLC manages the process of building new green homes in Portland, Ore., by working intimately with the client through the planning, designing and building process. Each home will be delivered on time, within budget and will meet all specifications that are desired. The process of building a home for yourself will be educational, rewarding and exciting.

The process begins with site selection. The home will start taking shape on paper with the assistance of a licensed architect who is well versed in green design. The owner, builder and architect, as a team, will work toward designing the client's dream home, all while keeping in mind budget constraints, zoning requirements and green building practices. Once the home design is finalized and permits are processed the construction
can begin.

Once the construction process begins, our project manager ensures that the project proceeds within budget and on time while keeping the owner informed of every step. We have developed long-term relationships with our subcontractors, and they work with
us to make sure schedule, budget and quality exceed expectations.

We pay close attention to every detail along the way in order to deliver the owner a green, energy-efficient home they desire within budget.

The entire process, from site selection to final walkthrough should take less than 6 months.
